"Just living is not enough" said the butterfly

"one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower".

As promised after taking this saying as inspiration, made a nice birthday card...also decorated the inside as something a little different....what do you think ?

Found this paper in my stash and of course inked around the edges, stamped with distress inks (my favourites) and assorted flower stamps and added a sprinkled butterfly and flower...one of those "I really like that " moments, so I made a few more in different colourways !

Going to enter this onto the stamp something challenge this week.well gonna try !

2 more altered frames

Aha... getting the hang of this now, these are my mum and sisters frames. (Mums is the bottom one). So Vicky and Julie your art is out there !!

The saying on Julies card is  "Just living is not enough" said the butterfly, "one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower". We both made a rather nice butterfly for our frames and this inspired me to make a birthday card for one of my crafty friends...show you tomorrow !

When mum and Julie were up at Easter we visited my local craft shop , they had a lovely altered art picture frame so off we trooped to another shop and duly purchased 3 frames to alter as a momento of our weekend. Here is my finished result ! This starts off my theme of scrapping all the sayings I like to collect.
Right, now I managed to upload that picture lets try a couple more....

At last..  I have threatened to set up a blog and at last have managed it, not as difficult as I thought. Just need to customize it a little now...we'll see how that goes.
Had a crafty easter weekend with my mum and sister, made loads of good stuff between us, and have carried on crafting all week. 
Watched the royal wedding today (fabulous dress!!)  and crafted a bit more. Want to post some of my creations onto blog challenges so need to find out how to do that.
